MANUELA MARQUES, (Lisboa, 1982) Professora e Artista. Licenciada em Ensino “Professores E.B. 1º e 2º ciclo – variante EVT”, pela ESELx (2005); e com Pós-Graduação em “Comunicação de Cultura e Indústrias Criativas”, pela FCSH-NOVA (2023). Desenvolveu formação artística em teatro, música e dança, salientando-se a “Formação Intensiva Acompanhada” (2006), no c.e.m., e o curso “Acting for Film” (2007), na Metropolitan Film School, sob a tutoria de David Tucker. Como intérprete (atriz) trabalhou com: Paula Sá Nogueira (Cão Solteiro), Ana Borralho & João Galante, Joana Craveiro (teatro do vestido), Maria Emília Correia, Miguel Moreira (útero), Ricardo Gageiro, Sofia Neuparth (c.e.m), Alexandre Lyra Leite (Inestética), Leonor Fonseca e Melissa Rodrigues. Entre 2010 e 2019 trabalhou como responsável de Elenco, em projetos de ficção para a TVI e RTP, e passou ainda pelo departamento de Atores da Elite Lisbon, como booker. “má-da-faca” surge, em 2015, como assinatura para redigir artigos/ crítica de espetáculos. Artisticamente, concebeu e apresentou as peças “copo d’água” (2007), “Reborn” (2010) e, recentemente, a exposição “Témoi_” (2022) e o espetáculo “Temos Apenas o Presente”, estreado no Festival Temps d’Images (2023). Atualmente, leciona EVT no ensino público e colabora, como cronista, nas revistas Brotéria e PARQ.

Developed artistic training in theater, music and dance, highlighting the “Accompanied Intensive Training” (2006), at c.e.m., as well as the “Acting for Film” course (2007), at the Metropolitan Film School, under the tutorship of David Tucker. As a performer (actress) worked with: Paula Sá Nogueira (Cão Solteiro), Ana Borralho & João Galante, Joana Craveiro (Teatro do Vestido), Maria Emília Correia, Miguel Moreira (Útero), Ricardo Gageiro, Sofia Neuparth (c.e.m.), Alexandre Lyra Leite (Inestética), Leonor Fonseca and Melissa Rodrigues. Between 2010 and 2019 worked as a Cast Manager on fiction projects, for the Portuguese Television networks (TVI and RTP), and as a Booker in the actors department, at Elite Lisbon. “má-da-faca” appears in 2015, as a signature for redacting articles/reviews of shows. Artistically, conceived and presented the pieces “copo d’água” (2007), “Reborn” (2010) and, recently, the exhibition “Témoi_” (2022) along with the play “Temos Apenas o Presente”, premiered at the Festival Temps d’Images (2023). Currently, lecturing Visual Arts in public education and collaborating, as a columnist, in the magazines Brotéria and PARQ.
